I volunteered to design a set of posters for a poster sale event as part of the Women @ Martin ERG's Women's History Month celebration. There was a time dedicated to the poster sale event so employees could purchase a poster or both, and all proceeds were donated to the YWCA. In addition to the posters, I also designed a digital zine that lists various women-owned small businesses to support (in both Richmond and NYC), thank you cards to accompany each poster sold, and a QR code flyer that linked people to the YWCA donation website.
Statistics have shown that women don't take off work as much as men throughout the year, even though women deserve and need a break just as much as anyone else. These posters serve as a reminder to relax and recharge, however that may take form. Taking care of yourself is extremely important and necessary. Your care is in your hands, after all!
